Morocco and France Conclude Joint Military Exercise "Chergui 2022"

From March 1 to 25, the Moroccan and French armed forces conducted a series of air-land maneuvers called "Chergui 2022" in the Errachidia region.
In a press release, the General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces indicated that the planning work for this exercise took place in September 2021 between the military authorities of Morocco and France.
"Chergui 2022" brought together the armies of the two countries for more than three weeks in the Errachidia region through joint maneuvers carried out within the framework of the missions of defending territorial integrity, and whose objective is the consolidation of planning capacities and the development of technical and operational interoperability between the Royal Armed Forces and the French Army.
