Morocco’s Achraf Hakimi Vows Future Success After World Cup Semi-Final Run

Just hours before the Moroccan national team’s departure from Qatar, Moroccan international Achraf Hakimi addressed Moroccan supporters whose support has been crucial throughout the competition.
Morocco stood out in Qatar through the performances of its players, but also through the unconditional commitment of its supporters. While thanking them for this support that propelled the national team into the semi-finals, Achraf Hakimi promises better results in the next competitions.
"Thank you to the Moroccan supporters for their unconditional support. Thank you to those who encouraged us from Africa and thank you to the Arab community in all corners of the world. We will come back stronger to bring you more happiness. Dima Maghrib," wrote the Moroccan right-back on his Facebook page.
Even if the Atlas Lions could not get the third place, for Hakimi, being the first African and Arab team to reach this level is "historic" and deserves to be celebrated. "A unique experience is coming to an end. We are leaving Qatar with a historic 4th place. We are very proud of that," said the one who is among the best players of the 2022 Qatar World Cup.
