Morocco’s Achraf Hakimi Ranks Among Top-Valued Players for 2022 World Cup

Moroccan international Achraf Hakimi is on the list of the best players of the World Cup that will take place from November 20 to December 18 in Qatar 2022. This is what the data from the Football Observatory (CIES) indicate.
According to the data from the Football Observatory, the transfer value of Moroccan right-back Achraf Hakimi is estimated at 80 million euros, which places him in 17th position among the most expensive footballers of the 2022 World Cup. Compared to the market value of all the Atlas Lions, estimated at 315 million euros (326 million dollars), the transfer value of the 23-year-old player is even more impressive.

In June, Achraf Hakimi was the only Atlas Lion the most expensive present in the ranking of the 100 most expensive players in the world, with a market value of 75.2 million euros. The CIES had placed him in 36th place worldwide just behind French defender Jules Koundé of FC Seville (76.5 million euros) and ahead of other world-class players such as British defensive midfielder Declan Rice and Swede Dejan Kulusevski.
Achraf Hakimi joined PSG last year from Inter Milan as part of a 66 million euro contract that runs until 2026.
