World Cup Speed Rankings: Morocco’s Hakimi Outpaces Teammate Mbappé

Moroccan international Achraf Hakimi is cited among the 10 fastest players at the 2022 World Cup. The Atlas Lion has even surpassed his friend and Paris SG teammate, Kylian Mbappé, in the rankings.
More laurels for the Moroccan right-back. Designated as one of the best players of the tournament, Hakimi is also among the top 10 fastest players who stood out in Qatar.
Clocked at 35.3 km/h, the Parisian full-back is the seventh fastest player in the world, surpassing his teammate, world vice-champion, Kylian Mbappe (35.2 km per hour) and behind the American international Antony Robinson, defender of Fulham (35.4 km/h), according to a specialized media.
The top 10 is dominated by the Ghanaian from Stade Rennais Kamaldeen Sulemana, while the Serb Nemanja Radonjic closes the podium. In total, out of the 832 players who participated in the matches of the 2022 Qatar World Cup, only 13 players exceeded the 35 km/h mark, the same source specifies.
