Moroccan YouTuber Arrested for Video Insulting Citizens and Institutions

A young man was arrested in Settat for insulting Moroccans and the institutions of the Kingdom in a video posted on YouTube.
The Court of First Instance of Settat has initiated legal proceedings against the YouTuber nicknamed "Moul Kaskita".
He was arrested following the publication of a video on November 29, 2019 containing insults against Moroccan citizens and remarks affecting their dignity and their constitutional institutions, according to a statement from the Prosecutor of the King of the Settat Court.
The YouTuber was placed in custody for the purposes of the investigation. In addition, a small amount of drugs was found in his possession at the time of his arrest, it is specified.
Pending the appropriate legal decision to be taken against him, the accused will be referred to the public prosecutor’s office at the end of the investigation.
