Moroccan YouTuber Faces Trial for Alleged Insults to King Mohammed VI

The trial of YouTuber Mohamed Sekaki, better known as "Moul Kaskita", began on Tuesday, December 24th, at the Court of First Instance in Settat, in the presence of his two lawyers.
Faced with the charges presented by the President of the Court, the accused acknowledged having been in possession of 4 bottles of beer, categorically denying the presence of drugs.
Regarding the controversial video, the YouTuber said he had deleted it, as it did not comply with YouTube’s new policy.
When asked "if you could describe your father as you did for the Sovereign", in reference to the video where he had called the king a stutterer, and "if it is not a duty to respect the king of the country", the accused replied that "these descriptions are normal and I can address them to my father", however denying having acted under the influence of antidepressants.
Regarding the Moroccans he had described as stupid and inept, Moul Kaskita defended himself by arguing that he was addressing those who litter on the ground instead of using the trash cans.
