Moroccan World Cup Star Amrabat Faces Criticism from Italian Fans

Celebrated since his performances at the World Cup, Sofyan Amrabat has faced numerous criticisms last weekend in Italy. The Moroccan player seems to have exhausted his grace period with the Italian supporters.
Sofyan Amrabat is one of the players who contributed to the path that Morocco took at the Qatar World Cup, becoming the first African selection in history to reach the semi-finals of the World Cup. The 26-year-old midfielder has made many European clubs, across all leagues, run. They all wanted to have a player with the potential of the Atlas Lion, reports Onze mondial.
Fiorentina hoped to benefit from the talent he displayed with the national team in Qatar, but since his return to the club, the player would have been "unrecognizable" during the match against Torino, leading the Italian daily La Gazzetta dello Sport to give him a score of 4.5/10. "Unrecognizable compared to the Amrabat of the World Cup," writes the newspaper. Italian supporters have also invaded the web with harsh criticism and comments after Fiorentina’s defeat.
For some, the Moroccan player has not been able to convince since his return, as the club has only managed to win in the league during the match against Sassuolo, during which he remained on the bench. Recently declared non-transferable despite offers from several clubs, the officials could change their minds in view of the midfielder’s poor performances.
Still, he was spotted in the stands of the Camp Nou for the match between Barça and Getafe. This presence would be proof of Sofyan Amrabat’s imminent departure to Spain.
