Moroccan Star Amrabat Apologizes to Fiorentina After Failed Barcelona Transfer

After his failed transfer to Barça, Sofyan Amrabat apologized for trying to force his departure from Fiorentina during the winter transfer window that ended on Tuesday.
Sofyan Amrabat has apologized to Fiorentina, who refused to let him go to Barça, while he tried everything to join the Blaugrana. This situation has weakened the relationship between the Moroccan midfielder and the Italian club, who did not appreciate the player’s pressure, reports Sport.
During the negotiations for his transfer to Barça, Amrabat even skipped training. In reaction to this behavior, Fiorentina coach Vincenzo Italiano did not call him up for the match against Turin in the Italian Cup. But after the failure of the transfer at the end of the winter transfer window, the Moroccan player apologized to the club and his coach, which allowed him to play during the last minutes of this match.
The Moroccan player came on in the 74th minute, while his team was leading 1-0. He contributed to Fiorentina’s victory, who ended up winning 2-1 at the final whistle, qualifying for the semi-finals of the competition. "Amrabat did not behave well, but he apologized and he must give everything until June, he knows it," Italiano clarified in the post-match press conference, adding that the transfer window is over and that they now need to "focus on the competitions".
