After finishing his workday, the young Moroccan headed to a gas station to refuel, when he was approached by an individual who demanded money from him, reports El Periódico Mediterráneo.

As he was answering him, another man got out of a vehicle and began to hit him with an ax on the head and chest, before leaving him unconscious on the spot. According to the medical report from the hospital, the young man suffered several contusions to the skull and face, as well as pain in the neck and chest. Last Monday, the victim was able to join his family after several days spent in the hospital. For the moment, he has not yet fully recovered from his injuries and must undergo further medical examinations, the doctors indicate. Also, he hardly sleeps at night and has nightmares. "He is nervous and doesn’t want to eat at all," says one of his relatives.
