Moroccan Man Awakens from 18-Day Coma After Violent Assault in Majorca

A 20-year-old Moroccan man spent 18 days in a coma in the intensive care unit of the Son Espases hospital in Palma (Majorca), where he was admitted after being the victim of a violent assault.
The young man came out of the coma and left the intensive care unit of Son Espases 18 days after his admission. The Moroccan says he remembers nothing, except that he woke up in a hospital bed. The agents of the National Police Homicide Group continue the investigation opened to elucidate this strange case, reports Ultima Hora.
The Moroccan arrived unconscious and in critical condition at the hospital. His vital prognosis was engaged and he was quickly taken care of by the intensive care unit agents who managed to stabilize him. The young man received a violent blow to the back of the head, another under the eye, damaged and very swollen hands, as well as dermatoses and several bruises all over the rest of his body.
According to the first hypotheses of the investigators, the young man could have been the victim of a violent assault, or of a work accident as a migrant and without papers. In the second case, his employer, not wanting to have any problems, would have abandoned him in the street.
