Moroccan Man, 20, in Critical Condition After Knife Attack in Spain’s Cordoba Region

A 20-year-old Moroccan man was violently attacked with a knife in Puente Genil, in the Cordoba region. He was admitted to the hospital in critical condition.
The incident reportedly occurred on the night of January 5, says Esteban Morales, the mayor of the city, to Europa Press, specifying that the emergency services were alerted by several people to the presence of a young man stabbed in the street Bailén. Upon arrival, the agents found that the victim, a 20-year-old of Moroccan origin, had received several knife wounds.
The young man was rushed to the Reina Sofía Hospital in Cordoba. For the moment, no alleged perpetrator of this attack has yet been arrested, according to the mayor. The Civil Guard, in collaboration with the local police, is investigating to shed light on this case and apprehend the perpetrator(s) of this violent assault.
