Moroccan Woman Discovers Missing Kidney Years After Surgery in Marrakech

After being urgently operated on in a hospital in Marrakech, a woman discovers, a few years later, that her kidney has been stolen. In a video, she recounts her eventful journey with the disease and hospitals in southern Morocco.
Consulting in Marrakech for a kidney stone, an elderly woman from ’Essaouira was asked to undergo emergency removal of a kidney cyst to avoid complications.
The surgical operation was a success and the woman was able to leave the establishment in excellent physical health, without having to pay the hospitalization costs, which were covered, according to the medical team, by benefactors.
The woman resumes her dressmaking activity in Essaouira, then in Agadir, before suffering, six years later, a new more intense relapse. Lower back and leg pains lead her to the garrison infirmary in Agadir.
To her great surprise, the doctors tell her that the doctors in Marrakech had not limited themselves to removing the cyst, but that her kidney had been completely removed...
