Moroccan Winger Sofiane Boufal Returns to Angers in Last-Minute Transfer Deal

SCO Angers announced on Monday evening the return of Moroccan striker Sofiane Boufal. The Angers club finalized the transfer just hours before the end of the transfer window.
Moroccan international Sofiane Boufal, who has been searching for his bearings for a few months, has settled in Angers, the club that trained him. On loan at Southampton, he was transferred at the last minute to the French club where he made his professional debut before moving to Lille.
Soufiane is a player with enormous potential. He is especially coveted for his dribbling skills. But despite this major asset, the Moroccan winger has never managed to establish himself as an undisputed starter with the Saints. Loaned to Celta Vigo for the 2018-2019 season, he played 35 La Liga matches before returning for 20 Premier League matches last season.
