Angers Star Sofiane Boufal Tops Club’s Salary List at €150,000 Per Month
Moroccan international Sofiane Boufal is the highest paid player at SCO Angers, although his salary is still far from that of Parisian Achraf Hakimi. How much does he earn?
Sofiane Boufal, 28, is the highest paid player at SCO Angers, reveals the newspaper L’Équipe, which on Tuesday unveiled the ranking of the highest paid players in Ligue 1. His salary amounts to 150,000 euros gross per month, or 50,000 euros more than the second in the ranking, Angelo Fulgini. A salary that remains far from that of Brazilian star Neymar who tops the ranking of the highest paid players in Ligue 1 with a gross monthly salary of 4,083,000 euros or that of Achraf Hakimi which exceeds one million euros per month.
The Moroccan international has scored 6 goals and provided 5 assists in 25 appearances this season. His club is currently in 14th place in the Ligue 1 standings with 32 points (8 wins, 8 draws and 13 losses). His contract with SCO Angers runs until June 2024.
