Moroccan Winger Ezzalzouli Struggles for Playing Time at Real Betis

Abdessamad Ezzalzouli is bored at Real Betis where he is not in the plans of his coach, Manuel Pelligrini. The Atlas Lion joined this club in the middle of the season, hoping to have more playing time than at Barcelona. But his disillusionment is great.
Since his arrival at Real Betis, Abde Ezzalzouli spends more time on the bench than on the pitch. The Moroccan winger is not a priority for Manuel Pellegrini who left him out at the last minute for the match against Girona (2-3) played on Sunday.
The technician lined up Rodri instead of Abde Ezzalzouli as the latter was about to come on, reports andalucia información, specifying that the reasons for this last-minute choice remain unknown.
This season, the Moroccan international has played a little less than 1,400 minutes, in all competitions. Yet, Ezzalzouli left Barça for Betis because he was looking for consistency. Unfortunately, he failed to gain Pellegrini’s trust.
The Moroccan striker remained on the bench against Athletic and Girona. Against Rayo Vallecano, he played eight minutes, and two minutes against Valencia and only one minute against Atlético de Madrid. His poor performances are far from meeting Betis’ expectations, who paid more than 7 million euros for his transfer.
