Moroccan Striker Ez Abde Faces Potential Betis Exit Amid Saudi Interest

Real Betis is considering parting ways with Moroccan international Abdessamad Ezzalzouli. The Atlas Lion, in poor form, should probably bid farewell to the Spanish club next season.
Ez Abde shows a very low level at Betis and is not in Manuel Pellegrini’s plans. Under the orders of the Chilean coach, the Moroccan striker has not particularly shone. The management of the Spanish club is seriously considering putting him on the transfer market, reports Qué !.
Betis hopes to profit from the sale of Ezzalzouli, who is attracting the interest of several clubs in Saudi Arabia and France. The Spanish club had spent 7.5 million euros for the transfer of the Moroccan international from FC Barcelona, who should also receive 50% of the amount in the event of a possible transfer of Ez Abde.
The Moroccan arrived at Betis at the request of the former coach, Ramón Planes, who saw him as the rare gem the club needed to achieve performance. But after Planes’ departure in January, the Atlas Lion failed to gain Pellegrini’s trust and did not have enough opportunities to reveal his talent as he did at Osasuna.
This season, Ezzalzouli has played a little less than 1,400 minutes, in all competitions combined. Due to this lack of regularity, he was not called up to the Moroccan national team for the friendly matches against Angola and Mauritania played in March.
