Moroccan Teen Clinches Bronze in 3000m Steeplechase at World Junior Athletics Championships

Moroccan athlete Salaheddine Benyazide won the bronze medal in the 3000 meters steeplechase at the junior world athletics championships held in Colombia.
Salaheddine Benyazide managed to reach the third step of the podium with a time of 8 min 40.62, behind the Ethiopians Samuel Duguna, winner in 8:37.92 and Samuel Firewu, second in 8:39.11. With this performance, the Moroccan won the bronze medal in the 3000m steeplechase at the World Junior Athletics Championships in Cali (Colombia).
This sporting event is a gathering of athletes from around the world under the age of 20. Before Cali in Colombia, the junior world championships had been organized in Nairobi, Kenya in 2021.
