Moroccan Students Build Disinfection Gates to Combat COVID-19 Spread

The provincial authorities of Errachidia, in coordination with the vocational training complex, have installed 10 disinfection passages in the main streets of the city, as well as at the entrance of the weekly market. This initiative is in line with the preventive measures taken by the Moroccan authorities to curb the spread of covid-19.
Ensuring the health safety of citizens forced to go out during the state of health emergency, whether to go to work, to do shopping or to receive medical care. This is the objective of this initiative. According to Lhoussaine Malhouni, director of the vocational training complex in Errachidia, the installation of the passage gateways is an initiative emanating from the wali of the Drâa-Tafilalet region, governor of the province of Errachidia.
Thus, the executives and trainees of the vocational training complex in Errachidia mobilized to design and manufacture a dozen disinfection passages, as a contribution from the OFPPT (Office of Vocational Training and Employment Promotion) to these efforts undertaken at the national level, he specified to MAP.
According to Lhoussaine Malhouni, the design and construction of these disinfection devices were carried out in 10 days. The work mobilized a team of trainers and trainees from the vocational training complex in Errachidia, in the fields of "metal construction", "refrigeration and air conditioning", "industrial maintenance (electricity)" and "aluminum and wood carpentry".
