Morocco Bans Coronavirus ’Disinfection Tunnels’ Over Health Concerns

The Moroccan Ministry of the Interior has banned the use of "disinfection passages" due to the still unknown health risks to citizens.
In a joint statement, the Ministries of the Interior, Health and Industry have banned the use of "disinfection passages".
These disinfection passages, installed by several companies and businesses as a preventive measure to combat the spread of the new coronavirus in their establishments, pose a risk to the population, the joint statement said.
This decision was made following a meeting of the committee responsible for finding Moroccan usage standards. However, it states that it "lacks scientific data" to assess the risks they pose.
According to the same statement, these passages must now be removed due to the various "disinfectant" chemicals used in their composition.
However, these passages can still be used to disinfect various materials, machinery and transport vehicles.
