Vocational Training Fees to Remain Unchanged for Upcoming School Year, Ministry Confirms
The information that an increase in registration fees for vocational training institutes is planned for the 2021-2022 season is false.
On Thursday, a statement from the Ministry of National Education, Vocational Training, Higher Education and Scientific Research denied this rumor that has spread on social media.
"This is information devoid of any foundation. The registration fees for vocational training institutes under the Office of Vocational Training and Employment Promotion (OFPPT) have not undergone any change," the ministry said.
The department also recalls that the fees paid by the trainees "only cover the registration fees and individual insurance."
The same source specifies that trainees with a baccalaureate following technician or specialized technician training "benefit from an annual scholarship, like their peers enrolled in universities and under the same conditions."
