Morocco Confirms September 3 School Start Despite COVID-19 Rumors

For the past few days, rumors have been circulating about a possible postponement of the school year in Morocco, due to the increase in Covid-19 cases. False! responds the Ministry of National Education, which provided a formal denial on Saturday.
The 2021-2022 school year has not been subject to any modification. It is indeed maintained on September 3, explained the Ministry of National Education, calling on parents of students to only get information through official sources.
"Following the unfounded information circulated by certain individuals about changes in the dates of the 2021-2022 school year, the Ministry of National Education, Vocational Training, Higher Education and Scientific Research wishes to inform the public that this is false and groundless information," the department of Saïd Amzazi said in a statement.
