Moroccan Star Sofyan Amrabat to Stay at Fiorentina Despite Transfer Interest

Many clubs want to acquire the services of Moroccan international Sofyan Amrabat who shone during the 2022 Qatar World Cup. But the transfer of the Fiorentina midfielder will not be effective this winter. He will remain in his club, barring a twist of fate.
No transfer for Sofyan Amrabat this January. Although he is on the radar of several clubs like Liverpool, Sevilla FC, Atlético Madrid, the Moroccan international has decided to stay in Serie A until the end of the season, reports Calciomercato, adding that he is now focusing solely on the end of the season with La Viola before thinking about his future.

The owner of Fiorentina, Rocco Commisso, has demanded 40 million euros (35 million pounds sterling) to let his protégé leave this winter. This amount is an obstacle to the transfer of the Moroccan international, whose contract with the Italian club runs until the summer of 2024. Liverpool, who would be in pole position to recruit the Atlas Lion, is not, for the moment, able to satisfy the Italian club.
