Moroccan Socialist Party USFP Signals Conditional Support for New Government

The Moroccan socialists of the USFP have decided to participate in the new government of Prime Minister Aziz Akhannouch, but on condition of receiving "a suitable offer".
This decision was made during the work of the extraordinary session held on Sunday by the party’s national council, which aimed to discuss the USFP’s future position on the current political map of the kingdom, reports MAP.
At the end of this extraordinary session, the party said it was in favor of participating in the next government on condition of "receiving a suitable offer and in line with the ambition to form a united, homogeneous and strong cabinet", adding that it is ready "to serve the homeland from any position that allows it to accompany the new stage".
Furthermore, the USFP expressed its satisfaction with the performance recorded in the local and regional elections, expressing "the pride inspired by the results obtained by the party, which have allowed it to position itself among the top 4 formations".
