Moroccan Singer Dounia Batma Records New Single Despite Prison Sentence

The Moroccan singer, Dounia Batma, recently sentenced to 8 months in prison, is preparing to launch the promotion of her new single, which is currently being recorded in a studio in Marrakech.
In a video posted on Instagram, the Arab Idol star was accompanied by Tawfik El Maghribi, the author and composer better known as "Joker".
The latter, owner of the studio in Marrakech, had in the past produced one of Dounia Batma’s biggest hits, namely the song "Meziane Wa3er".
To recall, Dounia Batma and her sister, Ibtissam, were sentenced respectively to 8 and 12 months in prison with a fine of 10,000 dirhams, as part of the "Hamza mon bb" case.
