Moroccan Runner Dominates Seville Half-Marathon, Sets New Record

Moroccan victory at the Seville half-marathon, in southern Spain, where Hassan Oubaddi won convincingly over the other runners.
The Moroccan covered the distance in a time of 1:03:14, leaving no chance to Kenyan Isaac Kiprono, who arrived a minute later, with a time of 1:04:02.
The Moroccan Mourad Marofit, the big favorite of this half-marathon, takes third place after covering the 21 kilometers in 1:05:37.
In the women’s category, it is the Kenyan Ruth Karanja who won in 1:10:39, also beating the Seville record.
In total, 9,500 runners had registered for this 24th edition of the marathon.
