Moroccan Runner Dominates Seville Half-Marathon with 7,200 Participants

Moroccan athlete Mohamed El Talhaoui won the 2021 edition of the Seville half-marathon. He stole the show from hundreds of athletes from several countries.
A total of 7,200 athletes participated in this edition. The Moroccan athlete was offensive from the first minutes of the half-marathon, taking the lead over the other participants by imposing his pace on them. El Talhaoui crossed the finish line in 1:03:12, ahead of his compatriot Khamis Bakari (1:05:40). On the podium, we also find the Spaniard Jorge Gonzalez who made a time of 1:05:49.
In the women’s category, it was the Ethiopians who took the top two places on the podium. First place went to Tiruye Mesfin Aman who won with a time of (1:10:47), followed by Tigst Getnet Belew (1:12:34) and the Spaniard Lola Chiclana (1:17:55).
