A newborn in the Moroccan royal family. It was announced on the evening of Tuesday, August 15, the birth of the second child of Sherifa Lalla Nouhaila with her husband Ali Hajji, a daughter named Lalla Marjana, little sister of Lalla Mayssae, reports the site hola.ma. At the same time, a first photo of the baby was unveiled. In this photo tinted with a powdery pink, with delicate flowers, we see the mother contemplating her little princess. The two are wearing the same outfit, a crackling Moroccan embroidered caftan, vanilla pink with smoky white. The radiant face of Sherifa reflects her happiness in welcoming a newborn.
The arrival of Lalla Marjana brings immense joy to the royal family, particularly to King Mohammed VI whose 60th birthday celebration was to take place in a few days. The sovereign is now a great-uncle of Marjana. She becomes the fourth grandchild of the king’s brothers and sisters, with her sister Mayssae and their cousins Hassan and Aya Regragui, the twins of Lalla Soukaina. The king’s nieces and nephews number eight. They are Moulay Ahmed and Moulay Abdeslam (children of Moulay Rachid), Lalla Soukaina and Moulay Driss (children of Lalla Meryem), Lalla Oumaima and Lalla Oulaya (children of Lalla Hasnaa), Lalla Nouhaila and Moulay Yazid, (children of Lalla Asma).
