Moroccan Ride-Share Driver Fatally Stabbed in Spain; Suspect Arrested

A man of Moroccan origin was stabbed to death by a young man in Fuengirola, in the Malaga region. The Moroccan was a VTC (Vehicle for Hire with Driver) driver.
The arrested man, aged 34 and of Spanish nationality, had requested the VTC service through the Bolt company. The 44-year-old victim, after being attacked without reason, did not survive despite the rapid intervention of the emergency services.
The alleged murderer, who had tried to get into another VTC shortly before the tragedy, ended up barricading himself in the victim’s vehicle before being overpowered by the police.
The investigation is ongoing to shed light on the exact circumstances of this tragedy. The suspect may suffer from mental disorders, a hypothesis that needs to be verified by specialists.
