Moroccan Tourist, 26, Killed in Tragic Malaga Highway Collision

Otman, a 26-year-old Moroccan living in Germany, lost his life in a traffic accident that occurred on Thursday on the A-355, in the Malaga region. The vehicle transporting him to Coín collided with a truck.
Otman had just turned 26. He had been working for some time in a sports store in the German city of Cleveris, located in the Düsseldorf region, on the border with the Netherlands. On vacation in Spain, he was heading to Coin with his friend Antonio, an employee in one of Marbella’s most renowned beach clubs, when their vehicle collided with a truck. The two young men died on the spot. The truck driver, seriously injured, was taken to the hospital, reports Malaga Hoy.
Otman will no longer be able to take his return flight to Germany this Saturday. The causes of the accident are unknown at the moment. Alerted, the health and local police services, the Civil Guard and the firefighters rushed to the scene. The two people trapped in the vehicles after the impact were able to be freed. The fire of the truck, caused by the collision, was also brought under control. The agents closed access to the A-355 and created a detour on another lane, causing traffic jams. Traffic was restored a few hours later.
