Tragic Collision in Spain: Moroccan Mother and Three Children Killed in Highway Crash

A 34-year-old woman of Moroccan origin and her three children (5 years old and two 2-year-old twins) died in a road accident that occurred on Monday on the N-110 near Ceguilla (Segovia). The car they were traveling in collided head-on with a truck.
The accident occurred in the early afternoon, at the exit of the Navafría port, on the N-110, according to the emergency service of Castilla y León, which alerted the Civil Guard, the firefighters and the health agents of Segovia. Thus, a resuscitation ambulance, a medical team and a medical helicopter were quickly dispatched to the scene. But the rescue workers could only confirm the death of the woman and the three minors, reports EFE.
The victims, of Moroccan origin, had been living for several years in the Segovian town of Riaza, says Mayor Benjamín Cerezo. "This accident was a shock for everyone. They were hardworking and integrated people in the city," he said, noting that the deceased’s brother-in-law is a municipal employee. After the autopsy, the bodies of the victims will be transferred to the San Juan de la Cruz morgue. The Riaza town council could declare three days of mourning.
