Ex-Terror Convict Urges Spain to Arm Separatists Against Morocco

On the sidelines of a gathering of several separatists affiliated with the "Rif National Party" in the Spanish city of Girona, which was attended by members of the Polisario as well as a number of Algerians, a former prisoner in terrorism cases and responsible for arms supply within the Moudjahideen Group in Morocco made serious and direct threats against the kingdom.
Ali Aarrass has a grudge against Morocco and does not hide it. During a gathering of several separatists affiliated with what is called the "Rif National Party", which was recently held in the Spanish city of Girona, he asked the Spanish authorities to provide weapons and ammunition to the separatists of this party in order to attack Morocco and target its strategic interests. The people present at the meeting report that Ali justified his request for weapons to Spain by "his willingness to wage a proxy war on his behalf in order to deter Morocco from claiming the two cities of Ceuta and Melilla".
The threats of this former prisoner in terrorism cases and responsible for arms supply within the Moudjahideen Group in Morocco have provoked indignation from several human rights actors and civil society. These threats directed against Morocco were taken up by several separatists present at the meeting. In addition to the separatists of the "Rif national party", members of the Polisario as well as a number of Algerians who provide material and moral support to the separatist thesis participated in the meeting.
