Moroccan Cyclist Killed in Bus Collision on Unlit Road in Majorca

A Moroccan cyclist died in a tragic traffic accident on Wednesday in Alcúdia (Majorca). He was hit by an empty bus while zigzagging on the unlit lane.
According to witnesses and the initial investigation, the cyclist was zigzagging on the opposite lane without lighting when he was hit by an empty bus. The victim, of Moroccan origin, worked as a valet in the Teodoro Canet public parking lot at the port of Alcúdia, say sources close to the case to Ultima Hora.
The Moroccan resident of Alcúdia had finished his day and was returning home by bike when, for unknown reasons, he began to drive recklessly, going from one side of the road to the other. According to some witnesses, he had difficulty staying upright on the bike.
Civil Guard agents, the Alcúdia local police and SAMU health personnel rushed to the scene of the accident to try to save the cyclist. But the latter, seriously injured, did not survive.
