Moroccan Cyclist, 22, Killed in Car Collision on Spanish Highway

A tragic accident occurred in Almería, in southern Spain. A 22-year-old Moroccan man lost his life in Níjar after being hit by a car while cycling.
According to the local press, the accident occurred precisely at kilometer 15 of the AL-3201 road, heading towards the coastal area of San José.
Emergency services were alerted around 9:30 p.m. by witnesses. Despite the rapid intervention of the emergency services, efforts to save the young man were in vain. The victim was neither equipped with a helmet nor reflective clothing, unlike the 47-year-old female driver of the vehicle, who was wearing her seatbelt and was uninjured.
The Guardia Civil is currently continuing its investigation to determine the exact circumstances of this accident. To date, no arrests have been reported.
