Moroccan Resident of Spain Arrested at Ceuta Border with 18kg of Hidden Cannabis

A large quantity of drugs was discovered on Saturday evening by customs agents at the Bab Sebta border post. A man was arrested. He is a Moroccan residing abroad.
During a joint control operation, the customs elements in collaboration with the national security elements seized, on Saturday evening at the Bab Sebta crossing point, 18 kg of chira, the customs indicate.
The thorough search operations, carried out jointly at the departure area in a vehicle registered in Spain, allowed the seizure of the drugs in the form of carefully hidden tablets in specially arranged cavities at the level of the fuel tank, it was indicated from a customs source cited by Map.
The vehicle and the drugs were seized by customs, while the driver, a Moroccan national residing abroad, was handed over to the police elements for the completion of the investigation under the supervision of the competent Prosecutor’s Office.
