Dutch National Arrested at Morocco Border with 72 kg of Cannabis

The Moroccan police and customs thwarted, in the night from Tuesday to Wednesday, an attempt to traffic drugs at the Bab Sebta crossing point.
Some 72.4 kg of cannabis resin were seized during a joint control operation carried out by customs, police and the canine brigade at the Bab Sebta crossing point.
The drugs were hidden in various parts of a vehicle registered in the Netherlands, driven by a Dutch national.
The vehicle and the drugs were confiscated by the authorities. The driver of the vehicle was arrested and handed over to the judicial police for further investigation under the supervision of the competent prosecutor’s office.
