A Moroccan living abroad arrested for drug trafficking in Ceuta

Customs and police officers at the Bab Sebta crossing point intercepted a large quantity of drugs. 21.4 kg of cannabis resin were seized from a light vehicle registered in Spain.
The drugs were carefully hidden inside the vehicle’s fuel tank. The driver, a Moroccan national holding a Spanish passport, was about to leave the national territory when he was checked.
The vehicle and the drugs were seized. The driver was handed over to the judicial police for further investigation, under the supervision of the competent prosecutor’s office.
