Moroccan-French Man Arrested at Spanish Border with 22 kg of Cannabis

Customs officers and police officers thwarted, last Saturday, an attempt to traffic narcotics at the Bab Sebta border post. It is a Moroccan residing abroad.
Holder of a French passport, the MRE was arrested in possession of 22 kilograms of cannabis resin, according to a customs source cited by the MAP.
The drugs were hidden in a false bottom arranged in the spare tire compartment of his vehicle, registered in Morocco, the same source specifies.
Placed in custody, the MRE was handed over to the judicial police for further legal action. The investigation, conducted under the supervision of the competent prosecutor’s office, aims to determine the origin of the drugs and identify any accomplices.
