Bulgarian Driver Arrested in Morocco: 40 Kilos of Drugs Found in French-Registered Car

An attempt to traffic nearly 40 kilos of drugs was thwarted on Friday morning by customs and police elements at the border post of Ceuta, in northern Morocco.
According to customs sources cited by the MAP, the drugs were carefully hidden in the form of tablets in various parts of a vehicle, registered in France.
The vehicle and the drugs were seized by customs, while the driver of the vehicle, of Bulgarian nationality, was handed over to the judicial police to further investigate this case, under the supervision of the competent prosecutor’s office.
