Moroccan Resident of Spain Arrested at Border with 24 kg of Cannabis

Customs and police elements arrested, on Tuesday, a Moroccan residing abroad (MRE) for drug trafficking, during a check at the Bab Sebta crossing point.
In total, 24.2 kg of cannabis resin were seized from this Moroccan residing in Spain by the customs services, in partnership with the cynological brigade elements of the police in Bab Sebta. The drugs were hidden in the form of tablets in a car belonging to the MRE who was about to return to Spain.
The MRE had hidden the drugs in a specially fitted hiding place at the level of the dashboard, under the seats and the floor of his Spanish-registered vehicle, according to the DGSN press release.
