Moroccan Resident of France Caught with 400kg of Hashish at Spanish Port

The Civil Guard arrested on Monday a Moroccan who was trying to enter the pre-boarding area of the port of Ceuta with 400 kilos of hashish hidden in a van.
The agents discovered the drugs after carrying out a thorough inspection of the Moroccan’s Opel Vivaro van with French registration plates. In total, 775 small packets of cannabis resin were found in a hidden compartment of the vehicle, reports Ceuta Al Dia.
The drugs, weighing 409 kilos, were seized and the Moroccan residing in France and sole occupant of the vehicle was arrested and made available to the Ceuta court. He is accused of a crime against public health.
