Moroccan Rapper Morad Arrested in Spain for Skipping Court Date on Traffic Charges

Moroccan rapper Morad was arrested by the police on Wednesday at his home for failing to respond to a summons as an accused of a traffic offense.
Morad did not appear in court for his trial, forcing the judge to issue a search and arrest warrant against him. After his arrest at his home, he was brought before the judge of Hospitalet de Llobregat (Barcelona) who ordered his release, pending the opening of the trial. The young rapper is accused of driving without a license, reports El Caso.

The Moroccan rapper had already been arrested last July for violating the curfew with some friends, and assaulting the agents who criticized their attitude. An "illegal weapon" had even been seized, according to the Catalan police. Last February, he was also mentioned in a case of attempted theft on a farm in the Putxet neighborhood in 2018. The prosecution has requested against him and a friend accomplice a sentence of two and a half years in prison.
