Moroccan Rapper El GrandeToto Tops Spotify’s 2023 Charts in Arab World
Spotify has unveiled its annual ranking of the artists who have most marked internet users. It appears that the Moroccan rapper El GrandeToto was the most listened to artist in Morocco and in the Arab world this year.
After his coronation at AFRIMA, El GrandeToto is still at the top of the hit parade of the music streaming platform Spotify. The 25-year-old artist was the most streamed in Morocco, but also in the Middle East and North Africa, Spotify indicates.
In its overall ranking, based on the choice of 381 million users worldwide, the site places ElGrandeToto at the top with "Mghayer" in first place, followed by CKay and his "love nwantiti (feat. ElGrandeToto) - North African Remix", and Tagne who closes the top 3 with "Nadi Canadi".
