Moroccan Prison Refutes Reports of Inmate Death, Confirms Detainee’s Health Stable

The prison administration of Loudaya qualifies as unfounded and false the information according to which a detainee, named Z.H., would have died in the local prison in Marrakech.
The information on the death of the detainee, according to the clarification of the prison administration, would have made the headlines of some electronic sites and social media pages.
According to the administration of the Loudaya prison, the detainee in question would be suffering from a chronic illness and is receiving the necessary medical assistance and "her health condition is normal".
For the prison administration, the dissemination of these false allegations aims to sow discord among the inmates, in general, and among their families, in particular, and then to mislead public opinion.
While deploring these actions, the administration of the local Loudaya prison warns against these shameful practices that tarnish the image of the noble profession that is journalism.
