Moroccan Prince Donates Sheep to Shepherd After French Tourist’s Attack
To show his solidarity with the young shepherd, victim of the savage aggression of a French national, Prince Moulay Rachid has decided to offer his family a herd of superior quality sheep.
The prince’s gesture, relayed by the site Ahdath.info, comes in the wake of the controversial video that had outraged public opinion, in which a French resident had crushed a herd of sheep, in the helpless gaze of the young shepherd.
The carnage took place on May 2 at the David beach, about ten kilometers from Bouznika. A French national, named Michel S., crushed several sheep, on the pretext that the child was guarding them near his residence.
The man, originally from Lyon, then shouted in the face of the still shocked child: "Get out of here, or you’ll end up like the sheep." He was placed in pre-trial detention, pending his trial on May 11.
