The verdict is in in the "David Beach sheep massacre" case. The French national was sentenced to one month in prison.
In addition to the one-month prison sentence, the court of first instance in Benslimane fined the defendant 500 dirhams, plus payment of 20,000 dirhams in compensation to the owner of the livestock.
Residing near David Beach, he had crushed a flock of sheep with his car on May 2, before threatening the young shepherd with the same fate. He was blaming them for being on his land.
