Frenchman Released After Serving Sentence for Sheep Killing Incident in Morocco

Frenchman Michel S., sentenced to one month in prison for savagely massacring a flock of sheep belonging to a young shepherd with his car on the David beach near the town of Bouznika, is now free. But he is prohibited from leaving Moroccan territory.
The French national has served his one-month prison sentence, paid a fine of 20,000 dirhams to the family of the young shepherd. He is now free to move around, but his troubles are not over, as the victim’s family has appealed, reports Le360. Hassan C., the father of the young shepherd, said that the date of the next trial hearing will be communicated in the coming days.
He has been prohibited from leaving Moroccan territory. The residents of the Pins club on the David beach where he was a pizza maker are demanding his expulsion.
On May 2, the Frenchman had massacred a flock of sheep with his car, before threatening the young shepherd with the same fate. He blamed them for being on his land.
