French Resident Faces Trial in Morocco for Sheep Ramming Incident and Threats

Held in pre-trial detention in the Benslimane prison, for having crushed a flock of sheep and made death threats against a child, the family of the French resident is trying by all means to have the complaint withdrawn by the shepherd’s family.
In a statement to the Alyaoum24 website, the father of the young shepherd, Hassan, said he had no intention of dropping the legal action, despite the pleas of members of his family and his lawyer, who had tried to dissuade him.
After acknowledging the charges against him, the French national, who lives at the David beach, will have to appear this Monday, May 11, before the investigating judge at the court of first instance in Benslimane.
The facts date back to May 2, when the Frenchman had crushed a flock of sheep with his car, before threatening the young shepherd with the same fate.
