Moroccan Police Seize 3 Tons of Drugs, Arrest 7 in Major Trafficking Bust

Elements of the judicial police brigade of Nador arrested seven individuals suspected of belonging to a criminal network involved in international drug and psychotropic trafficking.
61 packages of chira seized in a warehouse and 28 others in a utility vehicle. This is the harvest of the operation carried out simultaneously in the regions of Oulad Tayeb, Zeghanghane and Selouane near Nador. In a statement, the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) indicates that this quantity of chira intended for international trafficking and which was seized during this intervention is estimated at three tons.
More thorough searches were carried out and also led to the seizure of seven cars of different types, five hunting rifles one of which is equipped with a sight, 63 rounds of ammunition, mobile phones, a motorcycle, bladed weapons and a sum of money suspected of coming from this criminal activity.
Aged between 20 and 39 years old, the suspects were taken into custody and made available for the investigation to determine the possible local and international ramifications of this criminal activity.
