Moroccan Police Seize Over 2 Tons of Cannabis in Fez Drug Bust

An attempt to traffic two tons and 60 kg of cannabis resin was thwarted in Fez on Wednesday.
The operation, carried out by the prefectural judicial police service of the city, in collaboration with the services of the General Directorate of Territorial Surveillance (DGST), made it possible to intercept this drug shipment, loaded into a truck with Moroccan registration, at a gas station located in Ain Taoujdate, according to a statement from the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN).
The truck driver, aged 35, was arrested and taken into custody for the purposes of the investigation.
