Moroccan Police Seize 380 Kilos of Cannabis Near Marrakech Highway

A new drug seizure was made on Wednesday by the police services of the city of Marrakech.
The operation, carried out by the prefectural judicial police service of Marrakech, in close collaboration with the services of the Directorate General of Territorial Surveillance (DGST), made it possible to seize the drug, packaged in 15 packages for a total of 380 kilos of cannabis resin. The shipment was found in an area near the highway connecting Marrakech to Casablanca, according to the Directorate General of National Security (DGSN).
The same source also states that a 46-year-old individual was arrested for his alleged involvement in the possession and trafficking of drugs.
For the needs of the investigation, the suspect was taken into custody, pending the continuation of the investigations.
